The mind is an intriguing apparatus, if you can call it that, and one with a structure so complex we have barely unraveled the surface. On this book, thinking fast and slow, we are introduced to two sorts of mind systems; system 1 and system 2. These systems compose our own process of thought, it defines our reactions and our actions. System 1 is the faster one, the immediate one, the subconscious one. System 2 is a scrutinizing one, a slower one, a more conscious ans self aware system. Our facilitator, Dylan Evans, posed yet another system (found in another book) called system 3, were the thought process is even much more slower, and the individual takes his/her time (a large amount of it) to assess certain situations.
